Travel Dialysis Pre-Trip PlanningTravel dialysis pre-trip planning: status-based pre-trip checklist with progress, EN/JA booking email draft and facility directory links. Runs entirely in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

Three things before booking

  1. 1Contact the facility 4–8 weeks ahead with an English medical summary, labs from the last 3 months (incl. hepatitis B/C, HIV) and your dialysis prescription
  2. 2Confirm fees, payment method and whether an English receipt is issued; most overseas centers do not accept national insurance — check your travel policy
  3. 3On arrival, check the distance between facility, lodging and emergency care; keep fluid, potassium and phosphorus control as usual
